ABOUT Grace Elizabeth
While I spent a lot of my early life exploring all that Central Texas has to offer, I like to call Temple, TX, my hometown. I, along with several hundred others of my classmates, graduated from Temple High School in 2018. Around that same time, thanks to a program known as the Texas Bioscience Institute, I was able to seize an opportunity and graduate with my Associate of Arts from Temple College in the same year.
After taking a few years off to recover for the academic strain (and thanks to the pure boredom brought on by the quarantine days), I returned to the world of academia to pursue a Bachelor of Arts. In the winter of 2023, I graduated from Texas State University with a major in digital media innovation and a minor in art and design.
I currently live in the San Marcos area, with my best friend and a cat who, even now as I type, demands all of my attention. I enjoy spending my free time flipping through novels, clicking away on my computer, and creating. While drawing was the focus of my art minor, I find joy in crafting of all sorts, from the physical (paint, charcoal, pastel, graphite) to the intangible (writing for fun, mostly). Any excuse to busy my hands, and I'm in.
A lifetime spent in the service industry has taught me to move fast and think faster. Of the skills I've developed and taken with me through my time, a few stand out to me even today. I've learned to keep ever-shifting mental lists, ensuring priority is doled out accordingly. I've learned to move in a rhythm with my fellow teammates to funtion as an organism with purpose bigger than just our selves. Most importantly, perhaps, I've learned how valuable every second is, and how not to let a single one go to waste. To make it all mean something.
Alright, I'll hop down off my soap box now and give you a chance to explore what I have to offer. I'm sure by the end of this diatribe, you must be thinking "What can I do for you?"
